BALLOON RACES AND BREAKFAST POTLUCK

Bring your favorite morning/breakfast dish to share. Coffee, water, juice, munchies and bubbly will be provided. Jacket and sunglasses advised. COMMUNITY SERVICE—FOOD BANK
Saturday, September 18 - 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Join us at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada as we pack boxes of food for the needy. Please wear work clothes and closed-toed shoes. Young people over the age of 12 are welcome to participate. Please contact Peggy at 851-2245 or thumperrabbit@charter.net if you are coming. We will carpool promptly at 8:30 from the west parking lot of Sierra Sid’s, corner of McCarran and I-80. If you prefer to drive yourself, take I-80 east to exit 32 (USA Parkway) approximately 16 miles. Proceed 2.5 miles to Italy Drive just past the Wal-Mart Truck entrance. Turn left onto Italy Drive , then .3 mile to the Food Bank

VIRGINIA & TRUCKEE STEAM TRAIN FROM CARSON CITY TO VIRGINIA CITY AND RETURN
September 25 -- Train leaves 10:00 AM---returns 4:15 PM
Cost: Senior group rate for the train ride, with at least 20 participants, will be $36
(regular rate is $42)
The complete itinerary will include the train from Carson to Virginia City and back, a visit to St. Mary’s in the Mountains Catholic Church, lunch (not included in price), tour of Virginia City by van, and shopping time.
