As Nevada's population continues to grow, our Catholic Ministry is in need of persons open to God's call to serve His Church through vocations to the Priesthood or Religious Llife. Our need for vocations is great. We need more priests and religious to minister to the people of the Diocese of Reno
The Diocese of Reno offers a wonderfully wide area of ministry, in urban communities such as Reno/Sparks, rural towns such as Fallon and Yerington and mission stations such as Smith Valley and Wells. We offer various ministries in parishes, schools, health care, and the many missions of the Church. Our priests and religious come from all over the world, giving our Diocese a wealth of experience and background.
We know that the harvest is great. But, we need laborers for the harvest. We pray that God will bless us with men and women joyfully accepting our Lord's call to discipleship in religious life.
As your Bishop, I would like you to consider if perhaps the Lord is calling you to join us. I would like you to prayerfully reflect on the possibility of a vocation to the priesthood or religious life in the Diocese of Reno. The people of God in Nevada are in need. Please give us your prayerful consideration. COME AND SEE.

¿Que Tiene Dios Para Su Vida? ¿Esta Dios LLAMANDOTE AL Sacerdocio O Vida Religiosa?
La poblacion de Nevada continua creciendo, nuestro ministerio Catolico esta en la necesidad de que personas llamadas por Dios sirvan su iglesia mediante vocaciones al sacerdocio o vida religiosa. Nuestra necesidad por vocaciones es muy grande. Nosotros necesitamos mas sacerdotes y religiosos en este ministerio.
La Diocesis de Reno ofrece una amplia area de ministerio, en comunidades urbanas tales como Reno/Sparks, pueblos rurales tales como Fallon y Yerington, y misiones tales como Smith Valley y Wells. Nosotros ofrecemos diversos ministerios en parroquias, escuelas, salud publica, y en otras muchas misiones de la Iglesia.
Nosotros sabemos que la cosecha es grande. Nosotros rezamos que Dios nos bendecira con hombres y mujeres alegremente aceptaran el llamado de nuestro Senor a ser discipulos en la vida religiosa Como su Obispo, me gustaria que usted tomara un momento para reflexionar sobre la posibilidad de una vocacion al sacerdocio o a la vida religiosa en la Dioces de Reno.
